The Y & H Soda Foundation seeks to strengthen religious and spiritual life in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We primarily support Catholic organizations that enhance the lives of the poor and disadvantaged and instill ethical principles and values.

Goal

Strengthen the community’s religious and spiritual life and encourage spiritual values and ethical principles.

Strategies

  • Support efforts that strengthen faith and nurture the spiritual growth of individuals within religious organizations and special ministries, particularly to those who are troubled, isolated, or in crisis.
  • Support programs that develop and enhance the leadership skills of both clergy and laity in religious congregations, institutions and spiritual communities. 

Intended Outcome:

A vibrant spiritual and religious community in the East Bay.
